Summary Report on Controlled Thermonuclear Synthesis,

Abstract

The author discusses the current state of development of the two main closed magnetic systems used in obtaining a high-temperature plasma, the stellarator and the tokamak. Adiabatic magnetic traps are also briefly discussed, as well as the plasma focus. The paper is a very brief generalization of the current state of high-temperature plasma physics. (Author)
