Logistics-Over-the-Shore (LOTS) Simulation Model Documentation.
Abstract
A computerized simulation model of a Logistic-Over-The-Shore (LOTS) operation was developed to support the Trans-Hydro Craft Study. The report describes the purpose and objectives of the model, and, the assumptions made in creating the model. The report provides detailed user instructions. A detailed programming documentation which contains program listings, flow charts, input data set-up description, output description with sample printouts, and program variables definitions is included. The model can be used to analyze present and future craft (including helicopters) at many different types of cargo ships. The model is sufficiently flexible to handle a wide variety of user requirements. The report provides all the necessary information for user adaption of the model. (Author)
