Method of Estimating the Wear of a Pneumatic Motor,

Abstract

The method suggested for assessing on site the wear of hydraulic motors by measuring air leakage, is distinguished by determining the leakage, in braked machines, immediately at its point of connection to a compressed air engine, and by measuring the amount of air discharged from the engine outlet by a calibrated tube. This simplifies the measuring technique. (Author)
