Oil for the Lubrication of Internal-Combustion Piston Engines,

Abstract

The invention deals with an oil for the lubrication of internal-combustion piston engines based on mineral oil, calcium sulfonate, calcium alkylphenolate, and ethylene diisopropyl xanthate. The distinguishing feature of this oil is the fact that, in order to achieve improved performance characteristics, there is added to its composition 25-28 percent high-ash calcium sulfonate, 8-10 percent calcium alkylphenolate, 0-5 percent ethylene diisotropyl xanthate, and up to 100 percent mineral oil.
