Break-In Oil,

Abstract

A break-in oil was prepared from a mineral oil with less than a working viscosity, an antifriction additive, and a mixture of diesel fuel and diesel oil. To speed up the breaking-in process, finely dispersed chromium oxide powder 0.5 to 6 was added to diesel fuel 10 to 50, antifriction additive 1 to 8, and diesel oil to make 100 percent. (Author)
