Cermet Bearings with High Sliding Speeds for Textile Equipment,

Abstract

The powder metallurgy bronze graphite bearings, impregnated by IS-20 oil and additions of LZ-27 and LZ-23K surface active reagents (working under hydrodynamic conditions), can be used at high slipping rates. This was shown during tests of powder metallurgy bearings from bronze graphite (10% SN, 2.5% C, and balance CU), impregnated by IS-20 oil + LZ-27 or LZ-23K, by operation at 60,000 rpm. (Author)
