Bearing Assembly,

Abstract

Washers with projections are used for self-centering of ball bearings in a unit where the bearings are set on a shaft and in a housing with clearances and a self-setting plastic is used to fill in the clearances. This makes the unit cheaper and improves precision of the assembly. (Author)
