Bearing Assembly for an Electrical Machine,

Abstract

The bearing assembly differs from existing ones in that a bushing is fixed onto the shaft of the machine in order to increase sealing reliability. The butt end of the bushing from the side opposite the bearing is conical and mates with the seal. A rotating deflection disc is fixed onto the seal on the machine shaft for the purpose of reducing ambient pressure. (Author)
