Performance of Spread Spectrum Modulation in a Multipath Environment.

Abstract

The study determines analytically the degradation experienced by two forms of spread spectrum modulation techniques, frequency hopped-frequency shift keying and pseudo noise-phase shift keying, due to multipath occurring in airborne communications channels. Results are obtained for the cases in which coded and uncoded data are used. (Author)
