Coherent Multiplexing and Array Techniques.

Abstract

Techniques needed to instrument practical and effective satellite communications systems containing small terminals were developed. The major areas of investigation included time division multiple access (TDMA) systems, adaptive null-steering arrays, and self-phased arrays. Results of the work reported previously in eight technical reports are summarized. In addition, experimental results obtained relatively recently from the adaptive null-steering array work and a hybrid differential detector investigation are presented. (Author)
