RADIK: An Interactive Graphic and Text Editor System.

Abstract

The thesis contains a survey of the hardware requirements and the desirable characteristics of an interactive Computer Graphics System. There is a detailed evaluation of the resident system in the Computer Laboratory and an attempt is made through programming, to provide a software capability which allows for full use of all hardware in the Computer Graphics System. This assembly language program, known as RADIK, is a highly interactive graphics and text editor developed for use on a computer system composed of an XDS 9300 and two Adage AGI-10 graphics terminals. In addition, this thesis includes a discussion on the development of the system as well as complete operating instructions. (Author)
