Thermodynamic Properties of Bi2Te3, Bi2Se and Sb2Te3, Sb2Se3,

Abstract

The free energy, entropy, and heat of formation were determined for Bi2Te3, Bi2Se, and Sb2Te3, Sb2Se3 by measuring the electromotive force at various temperatures. The enthalpy of formation at 298 degrees was estimated as -8.0, -5.8, and -14.7 kcal/mole for given thermodynamic properties. (Author)
