Angular Velocity Vibrometer,

Abstract

An angular velocity vibrometer containing a housing, a magnetostriction oscillator with excitation winding suspended in it on elastic elements, and a signal pick-up device is distinguished by the fact that two half-wave metallic bars, whose quarter-wave sections at the ends are hollow, are connected with the vibrator, and the elastic elements of the vibrator-bar's suspension system are connected to it at the bar displacement assemblies. The purpose of these distinctions is to raise sensitivity.
