Free-Flooding Magnetostrictive Scroll Transducers.

Abstract

A review of some of the free-flooding magnetostrictive scroll transducers that have been developed since 1962 is presented. The authors discuss their primary advantages, analyze the problems encountered in their development, and recommend areas for future research. (Author)
