In the Exhibition Halls of 'Computer Technology' and 'Transport',
Abstract
Some of the latest exhibits to be set up at the Exhibition of Achievements of the USSR national economy in Moscow are briefly described and photographs are presented. New exhibits include: The Stem 2 Specialized Technological Computer, desgined for technological calculations of optimal processing modes of various metals with simultaneous determination of norms of time and cost of work; The VDT6445E10 Keyboard Text Computer, which mechanizes the processing of primary accounting and planning information at industrial enterprises, in trade organizations, etc; The 'Optimum 2' Specialized Mathematical Machine, which mechanizes the calculation involved in the planning of transport; The system for automation of planning of train and cargo operations on the Oktyabr'-Skaya Railroad, based on the 'Minsk 22' Computer, installed at the Information Computer Center; and the arm 65 Automatic Train Seat Reservation System for use in a single train station.
