Determination of the Thermal Conductivity of Liquid Hydrocarbons Using a Relative Method,

Abstract

The thermal conductivity of the following compounds were found: benzene, o-xylene, m-xylene, n-xylene, ethylene benzene, n-heptane, nitromethane, isooctane, dimethyl formamide, and carbon tetrachloride. The design of a new thermal conductance instrument is described.
