Study of the Thermal Conductivity of a Layer of Lumpy Material,
Abstract
A semi-empirical equation is proposed for the determination of thermal conductivity of a layer of any piece of a material. An experimental method and procedure which were used for this purpose are described. The comparison of calculated and experimental values showed that the method is sufficiently accurate. (Author)
