Thermophysical Properties of Beet Pulp,

Abstract

When planning and calculating different drying installations, and selecting the scientifically well-founded conditions for the process of drying moist beet pulp, it is necessary to know its thermophysical characteristics: Coefficient of heat conductivity; Temperature coefficient; and Specific heat. The article gives data of an experimental determination of those characteristics which make it possible to explain how and in what limits they vary depending upon moisture content and temperature.
