Comparison of Photon Interaction Cross Section Data Sets. V. Photran and ENDF/B,
Abstract
Photon cross section data from the PHOTRAN program Master Library Tape (MLT), covering the energy range 1 keV to 100 MeV for 77 elements in the range Z = 1 to 94, are compared with corresponding data contained in the ENDF/B data set (1 keV to 100 MeV for 87 elements Z = 1 to 94). This comparison is presented in the form of percent differences between the two data sets, with the ENDF/B taken as the reference set. These differences for total, scattering (coherent and incoherent), photoeffect and pair production cross sections are tabulated for Z = 1 - 42, 44 - 57, 60, 63, 66, 69, 72 - 83, 90, 92, 94. (Author)
