Immunological Studies on Heroin Addiction.

Abstract

A hemagglutination-inhibition test for the detection of morphine has been further developed and, in its final form, has been applied to a field study involving 500 urine specimens. The test which can be performed at the rate of 50 analyses/hour has been found to yield highly reproducible results and is capable of detecting morphine in urine if the concentration of the drug is equal to or greater than 25 ng/ml of urine.
