Light Flicker Perception Threshold Experiment.

Abstract

Experiments were performed to determine the perception of the human eye to lamp flicker. Flicker was produced by a desired signal (120 Vac) at 60 Hz and interference signals up to several volts between 30 and 100 Hz. Test variables included lamp type and intensity, frequency separation, and interference signal bandwidth. Perception is presented as a statistical distribution for each variable. (Author)
