Southeast Asia Mosquito Project.

Abstract

The Southeast Asia Mosquito Project, a cooperative venture between the Department of the Army and the Smithsonian Institution, has continued its studies on the mosquito fauna of the area. During the year 1 August 1971 to 1 July 1972 collections were received totalling 10,476 adults, 7,302 slides, 1,713 unmounted immatures, 9 vials of unmounted immatures and 3 lots of eggs of Stegomyia from the South Pacific. Seven publications dealing with the work have been published and nine are in preparation to be published in 1972. (Author)
