Determination of Intermolecular Energy Transfer Routes by PMDR Spectroscopy.

Abstract

The determination of the mechanism for the intermolecular energy transfer from an excited singlet state of a host (donor) to a guest (acceptor) molecule in a mixed crystal by Phosphorescence Microwave Double Resonance (PMDR) methods has been demonstrated by monitoring the relative populations of the triplet sublevels of the acceptor.
