High Frequency 'Knife' for Frozen Ground (Vyso Ko Chastonyi Mozh dlya Merzlogo Grunta),

Abstract

The report describes a high frequency electro-thermomechanical device (VETM) which was designed for breaking up frozen rock or ground in stripping, open and underground work. The device can also be used successfully in construction and earthwork in northern and arctic conditions. (Author)
