Abstract

The report is a complete presentation of the theory and practice of aerial photography. Subjects covered range from the theory of the single photograph through planometric aerial triangulation and determination of elements on single photographs to the theory of paired photographs, stereometric methods of photointerpretation and the production of topographic maps from aerial photographs. Mapping of planets and their satellites and the automation of stereometric work are covered. A special section discusses prospects for future developments. (Author)
