Abstract

The book describes the organization and combat of the march and meeting engagement, attack, and defense by a motorized rifle battalion under conditons where nuclear weapons are employed and where they are not. Diagrams and examples from experiences gained during the Great Patriotic War and several tactical exercises of recent years are given as illustrations in the report. (Author)
