Determining the Radius of the Cavity from an Underground Explosion in the Presence of Residual Pressure from Explosion Products,

Abstract

The radii of cavities formed as a result of underground explosions in sand and clay soils are determined in the presence of residual pressure from explosion products. The results from spherical, cylindrical, and slab charges are discussed. (Author)
