Finite Element Applications in Mathematical Physics,

Abstract

Applications of finite-element methods to a wide variety of boundary-value problems in mathematical physics are discussed. Relationships of finite element methods to various existing classical methods of approximate analysis are shown. The convergence, error estimation and solution methods are also discussed. (Author)
