Analysis of Particle Dynamics and Subnuclear Systems Based on Regge Pole Calculations, and Current Algebras and the Quark Models.

Abstract

The topics of research were the phenomenology of high energy physics and dynamics of strong interaction involving Regge poles, cuts and higher symmetries. Specific accomplishments included the detailed classification of known isotriplet and isodoublet mesons into exchange degenerate octets of Regge trajectories, which accommodates all the established mesons and is in agreement with the quark model; development of a formalism pseudoscalar and axial vector octets which successfully resolved numerous difficulties in polarization and cross-over phenomena; and the development of a model which explains the photo production of pi + mesons at high energies and small scattering angles.
