Cancer Chemotherapy -- An Example of Physicain Decision making,
Abstract
The report discusses the use of medical information in making clinical decisions and in the structuring of such information so that better decisions can be made. Given this objective models have been built to simulate leukemia chemotherapy. If one starts with model building at the biological level to interpret clinical results, there is a long sequence of steps in between. The authors define and structure those intermediate steps, and summarize what has been learned about model building, and leukemia chemotherapy from this process.
