Abstract

The paper explores some organizational design ideas that developed in a previous paper. This exercise focused on developing an advanced management system to maintain large fleets of aircraft. It explored the relationships between organizational goals, information and decision rules in the context of scheduling (resource allocation) activities. (Author)
