Investigations of the Long Term Frequency Stability of Stable Laser Structures.

Abstract

The authors investigate the sources and their contributions to the long term frequency drift and gain stability of laser structures. The investigations yield now a more complete picture of the contributions of certain gas impurities to the index of refraction and their influence on the power output of the 6328A He-Ne gas mixture are outlined.
