Special Purpose Fibers,

Abstract

The report presents a detailed study of methods of production and properties of special purpose fibers: heat-resistant (polyheterocyclical, polyimidazopyrolone, polybenzimidazole, etc.), semiconductor, ion-exchange (cation-exchange and anion-exchange) electron-exchange, biologically active (antimicrobial, blood-clotting, anesthetic, etc.). Areas of application of these fibers and products of these fibers are described. (Author)
