A Computer Program Which Locates Information Loss During the Computation of Functions.

Abstract

The report describes an interactive IBM 360 PL/1 computer program which finds the mutual information (and similar information-theoretic measurements) for all combinations of up to seven input, intermediate, and output variables developed during the course of a computation. (Author)
