GRAFFIT - A Curve-fitting Program for the CDC Interactive Graphics Terminal.
Abstract
The purpose of this report is to describe GRAFFIT, a curve-fitting program. GRAFFIT is an implementation of the program CUVFIT (a curve-fitting program with plotting options, described in the Picatinny Arsenal Technical Memorandum 1854, December 1968), for the CDC 6500 Digital Computer and 1700 Interactive Graphic System (CDC Publication No. 44628800). The nine emperical curves available to the user are discussed and the program and its use are explained. Particular attention is paid to the preparation of the input cards and the various options available for manipulating the data on the graphics screen (Cathode Ray Tube). (Author)
