Anchorages in Soils for Hydroengineering (Zakotwienia Gruntowe w Hydrotechnice),
Abstract
Selection of the subject matter consisted in limiting it to soil anchorages used in hydroengineering, in which anchorages with rigid flat vertical or inclined anchors, subjected to horizontal forces, dominate. Particular attention was placed on the most basic problem in design, the calculation of their anchoring abilities, and the report is dedicated to this, with a chapter discussing the basics of soil anchorage design in general preceding the material presented on this topic.
