Instructional Programming Guide for Computer Assisted Instruction.

Abstract

Guidelines and procedures for the development of course materials in a format suitable for presentation by a computerized instruction system are described. Emphasis is placed on the tutorial mode in the context of an instructional model which delineates a specific course structure and set of instruction strategies. Flow charts are provided to indicate the various learning paths and contingencies by means of COURSEWRITER II language are described. On-line and off-line testing and debugging of course materials are discussed. (Author)
