Improved Multibeam Cathode Ray Tube Development for Reconnaissance.

Abstract

The three basic objectives were (1) delivery to AFAL/RSP of neck components for a 50 beam real time display tube developed on a previous contract, (2) development of a film recording CRT having individually controllable beams and improvements in the area of pattern uniformity, interchannel modulation, drive uniformity, and spot size, (3) development of a real time display CRT having 60 individually controllable beams equally spaced across a 6 inch high display.
