EAR (Experimental Array Radar) System Simulation Studies.

Abstract

The report documents the results of a study to develop, implement, and exercise a detailed digital computer simulation of the U. S. Army Missile Command's Experimental Array Radar (EAR) system. The EAR SYSTEM IS BEING BUILT BY MICOM to serve as an experimental hardware test bed for the research and development of an advanced, low cost air defense system for use against low altitude threats. The report contains a description of the EAR, a description of the EAR simulation program and mathematical models, and discusses the results obtained from numerous simulation experiments. (Author)
