Inductive Reactances of a Superconducting Synchronous Machine,

Abstract

A determination is made of the basic inductive reactances of a superconducting synchronous machine, including the inductive reactances of differential leakage. Attention is called to the special features in the calculation of inductive reactances in synchronous machines which lack a ferromagnetic magnetic circuit. Engineering methods are presented for the calculation of inductive reactances, and their values are matched with the parameters of conventional synchronous machines. (Author)
