IR-Spectroscopy Study of the Process of Magnesium Glycerosilicate Synthesis,

Abstract

IR spectra were taken for magnesium glycerosilicate; the frequencies characteristic for the (Si-O-Si) bonds and the (-O(-)...Mg(+)) bonds in the (Si-O(-)...Mg(+)) group were interpreted. The formation of magnesium glycerosilicate was confirmed on the basis of IR spectra data. (Author)
