Annual AFOSR Chemistry Program Review (17th).
Abstract
The review provides a record of research in progress, together with illustrative achievements resulting from the basic research program of the Directorate of Chemical Sciences, AFOSR (AFSC). There are three principal sections in the review. The first section presents various technical aspects of the program and their relationship to Air Force interests. It includes an article on Chemistry and Materials by the Head of the Air Force Materials Laboratory, and papers on chemical instrumentation and techniques, chemical structures and properties of materials, chemical energetics, and new methods for new materials. The second section contains summaries of program statistics. The third section consists of factural summaries of work efforts completed during the Fiscal Year 1971. (Author)
