Standardized Job Control Language (SJCL). Syntax Equations.

Abstract

The document is comprised of three distinct parts. The first part briefly describes the notation used, the second part is the formal definition of the SJCL syntax, and the third part is an index showing where each meta-variable is defined and where it is referenced. Indexing of the formal definition is accomplished by assigning each definition a unique identifier. This unique identifier appears in the left margin immediately preceding a definition. The identifier is constructed of a letter-number unit. The letter identifies a particular grouping of syntactic equations, while the number identifies a particular member within the grouping.
