The Effect of Aerodynamic Factors on the Amplitude of the Bending Shape of Forced Bending-Torsional Vibrations of a Rod,

Abstract

The article deals with forced stabilized flexural torsional oscillations of homogeneous rod, loaded by a uniformly distributed perturbing harmonic load, in a flow of ideal gas. The equations of motion, with account taken of energy dispersion in the material, are integrated by the Bubnov method with a single term approximation. Numerical examples are presented on determination of the resonance amplitude as a function of the flow rate and the attenuation decrement. (Author)
