Utilization of Fixed Productive Capital in the Titanium Industry,

Abstract

In titanium production the rate of growth of titanium significantly exceeds the rate of growth of fixed production capital, which contributes to an increase in the capital output ratio and a reduction of titanium production cost. The rise in the technical level of titanium production is due to a systematic rise in labor productivity. Further increase in the output of titanium sponge and a lowering of its production cost can be achieved by improving the use of existing plant capacities. (Author)
