Investigation of Viscosity/Temperature Properties and Heat Conductivity of Oil Fractions from Baku Paraffinic Crude,

Abstract

Viscostiy (-40 degrees to +100C) and thermal conductivity at 40C were determined for initial and dewaxed narrow boiling fractions (300-472) of the title petroleum. Dewaxing lowered the temperature at which anomalous viscosity sets in and gave steeper viscosity temperature slopes. The thermal conductivity increased with the boiling point; dewaxing lowered thermal conductivity. (Author)
