Silund Nanosecond High-Current Linear Induction Accelerator,

Abstract

The experimental data on constructing the high current induction linear accelerator of the nanosecond range, meant to be used as injector in the collective ion accelerator, are presented. The problems are considered which are connected with the formation of powerful current pulses and voltage with the creation of the accelerating system on ferrite rings, as well as with the focusing and transportation of the electron beam.
