Acoustic Sensor,

Abstract

The invention relates to the field of ultrasonic instrument manufacture and can be used where the application of sensors of increased sensitivity is necessary. Acoustic sensors which contain a housing and two piezoelements mounted coaxially opposite each other, but which do not assure sufficient measurement accuracy are known. The proposed device differs from those known by the fact that to increase accuracy it has one of the piezoelements made in the form of radiating and passive acoustically insulated parts with opposite polarity, and also by the fact that it has its radiating and passive parts made in the form of two half-disks or a disk located in it.
