Analysis of Diode Decoder,

Abstract

The article looks into the analysis of the transient processes in the diode address decoder of a digital computer memory unit using an analog computer. Oscillograms of modeling of the transient processes in an actual diode decoder are presented. The method for analysis of diode decoders using modeling by analog computer greatly facilitates an understanding of the physics of the operation of the diode decoder and calculation of the transient processes. Furthermore, this method allows clear analysis of the influence of changing parameters on the output data of a diode decoder. (Author)
