The Correlation of the Characteristics of Flameout and Ignition of Flames during Diffusion Combustion of Fuel behind Systems of Angled Stabilizers,

Abstract

Experimental investigation of the working process of an annular combustion chamber (built into the turbine body) for preheating a gas turbine employing gaseous fuel. The results are used to derive empirical expressions correlating the ignition and flame out characteristics for stabilizers over a wide range of stabilizer parameters (shape, width, apex angle) and chamber shadings.
